How to get to the park

Book directly with me and pay less

When you book through this site, I don’t pay a platform commission. I pass that on to you: booking directly costs at least 10% less than on Airbnb and Booking.com. You also get my tips for your day at the park.

You book right here on this page. You can pay by PayPal or credit card, among others.

On top of that come €20 cleaning per stay and Brühl’s 5% accommodation tax. A third person costs €23 extra per night, children up to 3 stay free. You can cancel free of charge until 11:59 pm on the fourth day before arrival, so if you arrive on 7 November, until 3 November. After that, or if you don’t arrive, I keep the full price and refund only the cleaning fee. If I can still let some of the nights, you get the amount for those nights back, and the full amount if I can let all of them. There is no minimum stay.

My tips for your day at the park

Getting there early pays off

If you want to ride as many attractions as possible, be at the entrance before the park opens. The most popular roller coasters often have the shortest queues in the morning. That way you can enjoy your first rides before the queues fill up.

Ride the top attractions first

Start your day with the most popular rides such as Taron, F.L.Y. or Black Mamba. They are among the most visited in the park and often have the longest queues, especially in the afternoon.

Plan your lunch break cleverly

Between 12 and 2 pm many visitors are in the restaurants. Use this time for rides and have lunch earlier or later. You’ll save valuable time and queue less.

Come on a weekday

Visiting on a weekday outside the school holidays usually means much shorter queues and a more relaxed day at the park.

Hi, I’m Hendrik

I’ve lived in Brühl with my family for many years. When we travel, we like to stay privately, because a hotel often feels too impersonal and locals give you the best tips first-hand. That’s how we want it to be for our guests too. Just message me if you have questions about your day at the park or about Brühl.

Also for trade fairs, concerts and carnival

20 min to Cologne and the trade fair15 min to Bonn

You don’t have to come for the park. From Brühl station it’s about 20 minutes to Cologne and the trade fair grounds, and about 15 minutes to Bonn. Trains run three times an hour, plus light rail line 18 every 10 minutes during the day.

That suits Koelnmesse and Gamescom, concerts at the Lanxess Arena and the Cologne Carnival. In the evening you head back to Brühl, away from the crowds.

Right on the doorstep is the palace park with its World Heritage palaces, and the town centre is within walking distance.
